Getting started

Type your GitHub username on the home page, pick a template, and your portfolio is live at devfolio.in/your-username.

What appears on your page#

  • From your GitHub profile: name, avatar, bio, location, company, website and X handle.
  • Up to 6 of your own public repositories, most starred first. Forks, archived repos and your profile README repo are left out.
  • Languages: the share of your repos by their main language.
  • Totals: stars across your own repos, public repos, followers and years on GitHub.

Keeping it up to date#

Your page is rebuilt from GitHub at most once a day, so changes on GitHub show up within 24 hours.

To change what appears today, edit it on GitHub: your profile bio, a repo's description, its website field and its topics. Editing directly on devfolio needs accounts, which are in development.

Limits#

  • Personal GitHub accounts only. Organizations are not supported.
  • If your GitHub username matches a page on devfolio, like pricing or docs, your portfolio is at devfolio.in/u/your-username.
  • Only public data is used. Nothing private is ever read.
  • If GitHub limits our requests, a page may briefly ask you to try again in a few minutes.
